Recycled Wool Blankets

Creswick Woollen Mills has been recycling end of life woollen garments since 1947. As the original recycler Creswick Woollen Mills developed a famous partnership with charities such as Salvation Army and StVincent De Paul, receiving unwanted Wool jumpers at the Creswick Mill. These jumpers would be sorted into colours, stripped of zips and buttons and processed through a wrag tearing machine to enable the fibres to be respun.
